Serbian Cultural Society Frula is a non-profit performing arts organization established in 2009 with the goal of preserving and sharing the Serbian culture through song and dance.
Since then, Frula’s members have been privileged to showcase their culture throughout Canada, the United States, and Serbia through traditional performances known as folklore.
Folklore is an expression of Serbian heritage and is considered an essential part of the Serbian culture – shared and passed down for centuries from one generation to another.
There are many different age groups within the Organization. Groups are named after our rivers, Drina being one of many. Many of Drina’s current members were instrumental in creating Frula as a non-profit organization.
We are very proud of the many accomplishments and milestones they have achieved over the last 15 years, together with their younger dancers and their family members.
